I currently working on a statistics showing size and weight of our chameleons and if there is an assotiaton. This is, because many times I see newbies asking "is my chameleon too small/big" and they are often unsure how much food they can offer their animals.
So if I can get as many data from you as possible, I can probably show how many gramme a e.g. 20cm Furcifer pardalis usually has. And if your chameleon is more a "big one" or more a slim one.. So you can consider if your feeding is ok or too much.
If as many of you can provide their datas regarding:
length (nose to tailtag) in connexion with its weight (in gramme) and age.
Of course I need the type of chameleon and the sex.
For example
Furcifer pardalis, male, 16 month old, 42cm , 160 gramm, captive breed (there seem to be a big difference between captive breed and wildcaught chameleons as far as I can say so far)
(I saw some of your data already in the gallery-thread)
thanks a lot
Marcus (Munich, Germany)
